Spring/Easter Sessions

Spring/Easter Session's are set for the weekend of March 24th and 25th.

Saturday the 24th will be at the studio, with bunnies or chicks.

These sessions are $75.00 and session fee is due when you book your appointment!

The 25th is an on location session (location to be determined closer to appointment date, but will be in the Galt/Elk Grove Area)

These sessions are $100.00 and session fee is due when you book your appointment!

Once your appointment is booked I will email you all the session details, included directions, and colors being used to coordinate outfits.

MINI SESSIONS ARE LIMITED TO (2) children, each additional child is $25

I have been shooting so many newborns lately and it makes me wonder all my early 2011 babies are at....

This spring I will be doing a day of FREE 15 min. sessions to document "Where are they now..?"

Welcome to this world Baby Clare

How could you ever get a better Christmas gift than this..? Perfect in every way, full of  personality!! She had me mesmerized with those eyes!!! I usually photograph babies all snug and sleepy, the family had requested a shot with her eyes open (which I usually don't see into the eyes of a newborn) and boy was she reeling me in! I was in awwwww!!

Holiday Photo's in the Hills

One of my favorite EDH families and I met up for their holiday photo session!! We caught a break in the rain, just enough time to grab some great shots!!

Get your HOLIDAY MINI's while they're HOT!

If you are not familiar with my mini sessions, they are a perfect way to get great images without breaking the bank!  All of my mini's are 20-30 minutes, so arriving on time is crucial or else it will cut into your session time! All of my mini's come with disc with a print release! Newborns are not allowed for mini sessions. This is perfect for holiday cards or gifts! I always with suggest a couple of labs for your printing needs!  

I will not be working after December 15th, except babies and expecting Mom's!  Your disc creation takes 2 weeks from your session date!

This local location will be disclosed with directions in your welcome packet!

Siblings are welcome for sitting on the bed shots, but for safety I will be shooting on child at a time jumping on the bed! You will receive 20-25 of your best images on disc with print release! I will call you to suggest outfits for this session. This mini is available one day only and is first come first serve! TRIM YOUR TREE MINI Last year this was a very popular session!  You get your tree up, the family or kids get in their jammies, have milk and cookies handy and I step back and shoot away while you make special memories decorating your Christmas tree! These sessions are limited because I do one session each evening for seven days.  You will receive 25 of the best images on a disc with print release to use as gifts or on your holiday cards. The dates set for these sessions are December 12-18th Session will start approx. at 6pm  225.

Getting back to my roots, this is how I started.  I wanted photos to be affordable and simple and straight forward.  What you see is what you get!!  So approaching the opening of my brand new studio in a brand new building in the new up and coming old town Galt, I thought it would be a great time to "simplify" my sessions!!!  All of my sessions now include the disc, or per special requests may I still send prints through my lab for clients.  These sessions all come with a print release, Stephanie Moe Photography retains the copyright to all images.  This means NO ENTERING MY WORK IN CUTEST KID CONTESTS!!! lol.

MINI SESSION OR STUDIO SESSION 200. ~ A smaller version of the standard with 45 minutes together. (LIMIT 2 PEOPLE) and 15 images on a disc with a print release.

NEWBORN SESSION 400.~ Done in the first 10 days in your home or in the studio, this is a 2-5 hour session with me and my assistant.  You will receive 35-50 images on a disc with a print release. 

BIRTH SESSION 500. ~ I am on call for your baby's birth and will stay for as long as it takes! All images on a disc with a print release.

COMPLETE NEW BABY PACKAGE 1000. (payable in 2 installments) ~ Maternity, Newborn, Sitting and One Year! All done at the loaction of your choice and all sessions include disc with print release!

Furry Friend's!!

This session was suggested by a very good client, and it sounded like alot of fun!

This session is for children and their pets, Or if you would like just your pet!

These sessions will be done June 6th - June 11th in the evenings from 5p-7p at a location in Galt.  

These are 30 minute session's with 10-15 images on disc with a print release OR $50 in print credit!

The session fee is due when booking your appointment and is $125.00

Let's Take a Drive.....

I will be offering my mini session of $150.00 to families up to five members to join my in the historic town of Sutter Creek!  Your session will include one hour together and 10-15 images on disc with print release OR $50 in print credit.  The dates for these sessions will be Saturday June 18th and Saturday June 25th... Appointments are limited!

Play Dough anyone...?

Here is a post NON photography related but certainly kid related!!

When I was a kid my Mom always made Play Dough with us.  So last night Justin had to make a rattlesnake for a school project so I decided we would make our own custom colored play dough!

I tripled the batch so my other 2 kids could join in the fun as well!

I wanted to share this recipe with my friends so you and your kids can have just as much fun as we did!

Play Dough

1 cup of flour

1/2 cup of salt

1 tablespoon Alum

1 tablespoon Oil

7/8 cup of water

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan on the stove and keep stirring until the dough achieves a "dough" consistency!  

After the dough cools enough to tough divide the dough so the kids can make different colors.  Add as many drops of food coloring until your get your desired color.  The more the kids work the dough or just play with it, the more the color works itself in!

I usually make a double or triple batch!  Also haven't heard of "Alum"..? Its found in the spice isle at the grocery store!!

Miss London

Little Miss London is 9 months!! It doesn't seem that long ago we were photographing her as a newborn. I will forever remember her as the baby in the box of peaches!

Raley Family 4

Congratulations of the new Raley family of four as they welcome baby Jack!  I was sick for a week or so so we didn't photograph this little guy till 2 weeks, but he rocked his session out!  Sleeping almost the whole time and he was super quiet!!  Here is a peek at our session today!

Just Mom and Me!

Just Mom and Me.... I just adored that book by Mercer Mayer! My grandma use to buy me those books and write inside!  So when I was thinking up a name for my 2011 Mother's Day Mini Session that was the first thing that popped into my head!

This is a very intimate session that captures the bond between Mother and child or even generations.

I welcome, Mom's, Grandma's Great Grandma's.... anyone and everyone!  We will be at the Japanese Tea Garden's in Micke's Grove Park!

2nd annual American Cancer Society mini sessions

As most of you know we are raising money once again for the American Cancer Society!  Last year we had an awesome turnout, and raised approx $650 for ACS!! 

We are doing the mini sessions again at the same location The McFarland Ranch!  The Galt Historical Society has been nice enough to allow us to use the ranch at no charge!

We are cutting it close due to the fact we were waiting on a response from the ranch!  But here is the 411 on the ACS Mini Sessions!!
